simple sunday lunch
Saw some beautiful italian tomatoes at la fromagerie the other day so bought a bunch of different varieties – San Marzano (large long plum toms), Costoluto Fiorentino (large misshapen ribbed beef toms), Pantano (large scalloped toms in green and orange hues) and Borghese (small egg-shaped toms). B whipped up Jamie’s Mothership Tomato salad which we had with 2 lovely soft mounds of buffalo mozzarella, some of our own basil and griddled sourdough. So simple to throw together, and the resulting flavours were lovely and fresh…delicious! It was so good we had finished the lot by the time I thought to take a photo…
